Jazz vocalist Anna-Mia Barwe is born in Stockholm Sweden and grew up in Scania, the southernmost province of Sweden.

With her deep mellow alto Anna-Mia is unique – very straight, very sensual and very right. Anna-Mia sings with credibility - with warmth and intimacy and perfect timing and phrasing.

She has a great sense of humour and sings with a glimpse in her eye. Her concerts are personal and leave the audience in a state of pleasure and delight.

Through the years, as soloist or guest artist, Anna-Mia has appeared with numerous musicians and groups, e.g. Anders Bergcrants, Sven Bjerstedt, Arne Domnerus, Jan Tollarpar Eriksson, Lars Erstrand, Rune Gustafsson, Jan Lundgren, Monday Night Big Band, Vincent Nilsson, Nisse Sandström, Jan Sigurs Trio, Jesper Thilo, to mention a few.
